We are delighted to announce the program for our upcoming session! 

 

 

 

SESIUNEA ȘTIINȚIFICĂ A STUDENȚILOR ȘI MASTERANZILOR FILOLOGI, EDIȚIA 2023

2023 SCIENTIFIC SESSION OF PHILOLOGY UNDERGRADUATE AND MASTER"S STUDENTS

INVITATION 

 

Dear Students,

 

It is our privilege to extend an invitation for your participation in the 16th Annual Students" Session, which will take place on December 7-8, 2023. This event is hosted by 1 Decembrie 1918 University of Alba Iulia.

This session is dedicated to students and is designed for both undergraduate (BA) and postgraduate (MA) students who are encouraged to present their work in fields related to:

 

 

•  Linguistics

•  Translation studies

•  Literature

•  Cultural studies

 

The official languages of the conference are: English, Romanian, French, German.

This year’s edition will take place in a hybrid mode, online and on-site in Alba-Iulia. The authors of accepted papers will have a choice to present their papers on-line, or on site in Alba-Iulia.  Participants who will be attending remotely will connect to the sessions through the Microsoft Teams virtual meeting platform. A link for access will be provided to them several days before the event takes place.

Instructions for presenters:

•  Presenters must prepare PowerPoint presentations or provide digital handouts. 

•  Sessions will be chaired by chairpersons.

•    Each participant has 10-15 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for discussions.

•   In the case of multi-authored presentations, more than one person may present within these 10-15 minutes.

Paper submission due: 1 February, 2024

 

A peer-reviewed selection of conference papers will be published in the volume BULETINUL SESIUNII STUDENȚILOR ȘI MASTERANZIOR FILOLOGI, ISSN 2601-2618, ISSN-L 2601-2618, publisher: Aeternitas Publishing House, Alba Iulia. Papers will be published in English, Romanian, French, German.

         We are honoured to invite you to participate in the 16 ^th edition of the Annual Students` Conference to be organized by 1 Decembrie 1918 University of Alba Iulia, on December 7, 8, 2023.

 

The conference is student-focused and it is aimed at both BA and MA students who are invited to deliver presentations in the areas pertaining to:

 

•  Linguistics

•  Translation studies

•  Literature

•  Cultural studies
